this major is designed to enable students to be innovative talents with materials science & engineering knowledge. students can pursue a career to do scientific research in materials science, technical supervision for metal in power plants, checking & controlling of materials quality, technology development in new materials, new processing and new technology, teaching and management.
三、专业培养基本要求 skills profile
毕业生应获得以下几方面的知识和能力:
1.掌握材料科学与工程专业所必需的基础科学知识,专业基础,技术基础理论和专门知识;
2.掌握材料的成分,合成加工工艺,组织结构,环境和材料性能之间关系的基本规律,具有本专业所需要的基本实验技能;
3.了解材料科学与工程的科学技术发展,具有较强的分析和解决工程和实际问题的能力,有较强的计算机应用能力;
4.较广的电厂动力,电力,机械等相关知识,基本掌握一门外国语,身体健康,达到大学生体育锻炼合格标准。
the required knowledge and ability for the graduates as follows:
1. solid grounding in basic science, specialized basic knowledge, specialized knowledge in materials and excellent basic training in materials science and engineering;
2. mastery of the rules between composition, synthesizing and processing, microstructure, environment and performances of materials;
3. understanding of the trend and developing current stage of materials science and technology; skills of experimenting in materials science research; skills of analyzing and solving engineering problems; excellent basic training in computer applications;
4. mastery of broad knowledge about electric power, electric system, mechanical engineering; mastery of a foreign language; passing students exercise demand and having a good health.
